Bucky’s Nightmare, by Mathieu Lehanneur
1947: Buckminster Fuller stands for science fiction made into real architecture. The structural perfection of his geodesic dome is suitable for all kinds of stuctures. Bucky’s Nightmare deflates tensegrity to kick research into blob structures. It is a biomorph leather island with a soft inside that re-configures geometrically under pressure, all the better to give support to each part of the human body.
It's Tuesday, and I'm down with a very bad throat. Weather is insane lately. Be good, be nice.
