Christmas by Colour is a not-for-profit exploration into the colours that shape our Christmas. Frustrated at the plethora of Christmas reds, whites and greens we decided to explore the wider range of colours that people really associate with their Christmas.
The collaborative, self-initiated project identified a rather diverse colour spectrum, as people all over the world suggested their own colour and its personal meaning. The entries were then sifted through and the winning contributors were added to our ‘nice list’.
The lovely little elves at the workshop then produced 500 A1 posters and some lovely festive wrapping paper, which have been sold via our online Christmas grotto. All proceeds from the project have been donated to C.A.L.M - a charity aimed at helping young men deal with depression - spreading Christmas cheer to those in need.
